Beady-eyed cat, front-door dog, flowers at Roosevelt Wilson Park, and dry gutter on Depot Street as that water leak at Linden Mill has been stopped. #morningwalk #Morningwalk news: Traffic at Potts Street and Catawba Avenue in Davidson has been a mess with the NCDOT road projects. The sign says they'll institute a 3-way stop here on 8/3 to address it. Also spotted: your missing side of Ranch dressing and that beef flavor packet you dropped. Under I-77 on the Sunday #morningwalk on the Torrence Creek Greenway in Huntersville. We saw wild hibiscus, a slug on fungus, a water system portal, and lots of cyclists. "Change the battery," she says. Or is it "Change the password?" She's been saying that for weeks. Also on the Friday #morningwalk - extraneous aquatic features, ready for kicking, trackside fungi, festive marketing cow, "Negative Energy Absorber" at work (is it working?), crape myrtle, Ilios Greek opens today at Sadler Square, NCDOT marker, public works yard cone weed, South Street sunflower. Have a great weekend. Neighbors have cleaned up the footpath between Hillside Drive and Cathey Street, behind Davidson Town Hall. There's even a guest book where you can leave a message about your visit. I stopped on the Thursday #morningwalk Seeing ghosts. While walking on Pinecrest Street in Davidson this morning, I passed this empty lot. The mid-century modern home that was here for 55 years has been erased - with most of its trees. Spotted on the Wednesday #morningwalk in Davidson.  Am I being watched? 4 might be your dream cycle.  6 shows progress on solar panels over Davidson College's Baker parking lot.
