St. Alban’s Neighborhood Artists Exhibit at Davidson Town Hall

A group of artists from Davidson’s St. Alban’s Neighborhood Artists are showing their work in the atrium gallery at the Davidson Town Hall through May 12, 2017. A reception is planned tonight (Tuesday, April 4) from 6 to 7:30, where visitors can meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments.

The light was special today on the Monday #morningwalk Davidson College women's lacrosse scored eight straight goals in a come-from-behind 10-5 win over Virginia Commonwealth to win the Atlantic 10 championship. Players swarmed around goalie Kayla Joyce after the final whistle. Joyce held VCU scoreless  during the scoring run. The victory also brings an automatic bid to the upcoming NCAA women's lacrosse tournament. @davidsonwildcat David, Rachel and Elizabeth in the tent Saturday for @davidsonhistoricalsociety at @townofdavidson Town Day on the Village Green. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see the historical photographs, buy a copy of the society-published history "One Town, Many Voices," and take the scavenger hunt challenge. We also added a few new members! Just a reminder: Our next  program "The Real Story of the Battle of Cowan's Ford" featuring historian/reenactor John Misenheimer is May 16. No classes today. Teachers are marching in Raleigh. at the "Kids Over Corporations" rally, urging legislators to prioritize education over more corporate tax breaks in the NC budget. Plus other sights on the Friday #morningwalk Thursday #morningwalk. Also (last pic) it's time for the Atlantic 10 women's lacrosse championship this weekend at Davidson College stadium. Wednesday #morningwalk in Cornelius and Davidson. Rain!!! on the Tuesday #morningwalk ... And a few other shots. Your bandages are on the soccer field.
