Duke expects approval this year for new nuclear plant in SC | WFAE

Duke Energy hasn’t built a new nuclear power plant since 1987. But nuclear is an important part of the company’s energy mix, helping to reduce the company’s reliance on carbon fuels. And after a long hiatus, the company could soon get approval for a new nuclear plant in South Carolina. Here’s my report from WFAE.
