On Feb. 7, I'll be telling the story of the 1914 "Murder on South Street," a story I've been researching and writing about for years. It's the next @davidsonhistoricalsociety program. Rachel Workman @workmanchronicles of @ghostsofdavidson fame will join me to talk about this hometown true crime. Join us - it's free! Register at the society website. https://www.davidsohistoricalsociety.org/post/february-program-murder-on-south-street We got mostly snow and sleet over night here in downtown Davidson overnight. There's a thin layer of ice underneath. The forecast is for more worrisome icing later Sunday. Stay safe. I saw a few cars and one fellow walking soul - @alan22da - as I went out to inspect at 8:15am. #morningwalk Waxing quarter moon on a Friday night. Calm before the storm?
