At an NAACP forum Wednesday called “Stop Police Violence,” Aryana Crawford told Charlotte Mecklenburg police leaders she was afraid of them. The recent police killings of African-American men in Louisiana and Minnesota have brought sharper focus to an issue that many know too well.
