North Carolina sculptor Bob Trotman will have two shows this fall in the Charlotte area, both called “Business as Usual.” One runs Sept. 8-Dec. 14 at UNC Charlotte Uptown’s Projective Eye Gallery. The other is at Davidson College’s Van Every/Smith Galleries, Oct. 19-Dec. 8.
Trotman says he makes figures – mostly white men in business suits – out of wood or resin. They’re commentaries on the world of business and government.
