Early voting has started in the Davidson town board and mayoral election – as well as on three town infrastructure bond questions.

NOW Signs of the times in Davidson: Bedsheet banners for the Davidson Wildcats, who won their NCAA baseball regional over UNC Chapel Hill Sunday night. They play next in the superregional this weekend. This reminds me of 2008, when Stephen Curry and Davidson basketball ran to the Elite 8.

Mooresville planning board considers big development on Lake Davidson

Neighbors are raising concerns about a proposal for a large mixed-use development on Lake Davidson in Mooresville, near the existing Davidson Pointe neighborhood. The plan by developer Hinckley Gauvain requires a rezoning, which is on the agenda at the Mooresville Planning Board Thursday, May 11, at 6pm.
